Tuesday - Optional Fun runs may be scheduled
Wednesday - 6:00 pm at Deer Lake Beach
Thursday - 6:00 pm at Deer Lake Beach
Friday - Senior-Led Conditioning - Time & Location TBA

What is Summer Conditioning?
Summer conditioning is a training program that is offered for athletes that want to condition with the Clarkston girls’ cross country team. We meet Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 6:00 pm to train. Every day we will work on speed, conditioning, and strength, which are three components that will help you in any sport. We always have workouts of varying difficulty, and whether you have never run or you have put in 600 miles, we'll have training runs tailored to your ability level.
If I come to summer conditioning, do I have to run cross country in the fall?
No. Conditioning is a great way to get to know the team, coaches, and sport. Training with us through the summer does not mean you have to run with the team in the fall. Every summer we have several soccer players and athletes from other sports (and schools) run with us. They use summer conditioning to get in shape for their sport. These athletes are always welcomed.
Who should attend summer conditioning?
Anyone interested in running and getting in shape may attend. If you are not sure if cross country is for you, this is the place to find out!
Athletes from other sports are welcome to and frequently join the conditioning runs. Taking part in the conditioning program doesn't obligate you to commit to the team.
I’ve never run before. Can I still join conditioning?
YES! We have groups that run as little as one mile at a time, so everyone has a group to train with.
If I don't attend Clarkston Schools, can I join your conditioning?
Yes. conditioning is open to athletes from other schools.
